Starlink is targeted to offer service in the Northern U.S. and Canadian latitudes after six launches, rapidly expanding to global coverage of the populated world after an expected 24 launches. SpaceX is targeting two to six Starlink launches by the end of this year
Elon Musk himself tweeted that it will take 6 more launches of 60 for initial activation, 12 for significant coverage
With Falcon 9 being the main carrier assigned to carry the satellites into orbit Combined with the reusability of The Rockets which in turn lower the cost for SpaceX when it’s all said and done combining SpaceX capability we can see why most internet service provider or in panic mode which leads me to wonder what kind of impact will it have on the internet service industry and what does it mean for us consumers what kind of price are we looking at and there is no doubt most of us are not happy with our service provider and are looking for a better alternative.
